Unity Trophy

Trophy design is often driven purely by aesthetics.
For this project, the objective was to balance visual impact with conceptual meaning.

The final form is based on a spiraling body that gradually tapers toward the top, a composition that suggests movement, ascent, and progression.

Andorra Epic

Andorra Epic is a multi-day mountain bike stage race held in the Pyrenees, typically part of the global Epic Series. Riders from around the world compete across demanding terrain featuring long climbs, technical singletrack, and alpine landscapes.

The brief was to design a trophy that reflected both the intensity of the competition and the spirit of teamwork in a two-person format.

A Trophy for Two

As the race is competed in teams of two, the trophy was designed as a single unified form that separates into two individual pieces.

When joined, it symbolizes partnership and shared achievement.
When split, each rider takes home a part, representing both collaboration and individual contribution.

Three Placements

The top three positions share the same sculptural form, differentiated through material finishes; bronze for third place, silver for second, gold for first.

The use of traditional medal materials reinforces hierarchy while maintaining a consistent design language across all placements.

Participation Trophy

In addition to the podium awards, a participation trophy was developed for all riders.

Executed in glass, the design offers a lighter, commemorative counterpart to the main trophies, acknowledging effort, endurance, and the experience itself.

Outcome

The trophy design was approved by the organizing committee and implemented in the official competition program.
It was well received by both participants and founders, reinforcing the identity of the event.
