Gamififed Vacuum Experience
Vacuum 2047 reimagines cleaning as an engaging, interactive experience.
By combining physical product design with game mechanics, it transforms vacuuming from a chore into a rewarding activity.

The Problem
Household chores are consistently postponed. They lack feedback, progress visibility, and meaningful rewards. At the same time, we actively seek games, competition, and shared experiences; systems built around motivation and engagement.

Designed for Compatibility
The system integrates with existing vacuum models, allowing users to upgrade their cleaning experience without replacing their device. Its form language draws inspiration from retro handheld consoles; familiar, approachable, yet reinterpreted through modern technology.
Design
The top module integrates a display, two primary action buttons (A/B), and an analog directional control.
The visual language references retro gaming devices through typography, iconography, and interface styling. The lower module is designed as a modular attachment system, allowing future expansion into additional accessories and chore-specific interactions.

Games
Sustained engagement requires variability. The system introduces four structured interaction modes, three persistent and one dynamically updated through software.
Each mode targets a distinct behavioral driver: competition, speed, novelty, and skill mastery.

Indicative Light System
An integrated LED light system enhances interaction by signaling game states, loading sequences, and system feedback. The lighting layer supports orientation, communicates errors, and reinforces the connection between physical hardware and digital gameplay.
